• First let the cut end properly dry & heal: see "Happiness is a dry cut" • Works best in the spring and summer, not fall & winter. • Works best with warm soil (>70 degrees), not cold soil! • Keep rooting sections out of direct sun or they will get sunburned. Really! • Never water an un-rooted section or it may rot if the soil stays soggy. • Never subject an un-rooted section to full sun--it will burn.
